DecentWorld has been recognized in Europe as the best innovative NFT project.
Selected jury members and online users were asked to vote for initiatives in a variety of categories as part of the European Metaverse Summit and Awards 2022. Numerous well-known speakers attended the ceremony in Berlin, Germany, including Sebastien Borget from The Sandbox and Robert Guenther from Meta.
Some of Europe’s top entrepreneurs and key executives in the developing metaverse ecosystem attended the Summit. More than 120 people attended the summit, which featured 30 guest speakers & 27 Elite Jury members.
DecentWorld was nominated in three categories at the European Metaverse Summit: Top European Metaverse, Most Innovative NFT Project and Top Debut in Metaverse. The summit’s focus was on commercial potential in the metaverse, with a special emphasis on the European ecosystem.
The project’s CTO, Denis Sergeev, shared.“To be totally honest, we feel that we deserved this honor and are quite glad to have received it. We put so much effort into creating this platform in such a short period of time, and we believe that this is just the beginning for us. It was an honor to brainstorm about the promising future of Web3 alongside some of the major metaverse visionaries, such as The Sandbox and Meta.”
Virtual Assets in the Real World with Real Value
The DecentWorld team discussed some of the causes behind the failure of so many metaverse projects the presentation.
Liucija Lenkauskaite-Stankevice, the project’s lead, said.“There is still much work to be done, but we are committed to doing it. Knowing that the industry we work in is still in its infancy and won’t become widely accepted for several more years gives me a huge sense of relief. It’s time to start planning and laying the foundation for the major web3 innovation. Many people are still unaware of the changes coming to their routine internet use.”
For the first time in any metaverse project to date, DecentWorld provides consumers an innovative way to buy virtual property. Given that the DecentWorld metaverse is modeled after the actual world, it gives users a sense of familiarity and ensures that there is a limited supply of virtual products, which is crucial for promoting the increase in the value of Assets.
